There was no winner of last week’s lotto jackpot of €2,000 held on Monday December 29th. The numbers drawn were: 07, 09, 29, & 31. The lucky dip winner of €50 was Annette Sheedy c/o Online. The lucky dip winners of €25 each were Fred Sheedy c/o Patsy O’Mahony, Carmel Towey c/o Carmel’s Garden Centre, and Jeanette Waters c/o Online. The jackpot prize on Monday January 05th is €2,200.

2026 CHAMPIONSHIP FIXTURES RELEASED
Fixtures have now been finalised by the CCC for the 2026 Cork Co-Op Superstores sponsored County Hurling Championship. In the Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship (PIHC) grade, the championship structure follows the same as last season and is comprised of three groups with four teams contesting each other in a round robin series of fixtures. Kilworth were allocated the bottom seed “B” and were drawn from the pot in group three with the group consisting of Carrigaline, Valley Rovers, and Ballymartle in what will be three eagerly awaited, highly challenging and competitive clashes.
On Sunday August 2nd, Kilworth will get their championship campaign underway against Ballymartle in R1 at 2pm in Rathcormac. Three weeks later, on Thursday August 20th, Kilworth contest Valley Rovers in R2 at 7.30pm in Páirc Uí Rinn. In the final group game two weeks later, on Sunday September 6th, Kilworth once again travel to Páirc Uí Rinn to contest Carrigaline in R3 at 2pm, which is also the first game of a double header.
Kilworth will also host the Premier Senior Hurling Championship (PSHC) R1 clash of Kanturk V Fr. O’Neill’s on Saturday evening August 1st at 7pm.
2026 HURLING LEAGUE FIXTURES
Kilworth will participate in Division 4 of the Red FM sponsored County Senior Hurling League in 2026. This division consists of ten teams composed of Aghabullogue, Ballyhea, Bishopstown, Blackrock, Cloughduv, Kildorrery, Kilworth, Mallow, St. Catherines, & Watergrasshill. The county league programme has now been issued to all clubs, and Kilworth will get their 2026 league campaign underway on the weekend on Saturday, March 7th when they travel to the Church Road grounds to contest Blackrock, with the league finals provisionally scheduled for the weekend of July 12th.

The eagerly awaited state of the art Kilworth Community Gym which is located upstairs in the new Kilworth GAA dressing room complex is now open offering the newest and most innovative facilities with cutting edge equipment guaranteed to enhance your workout. Introductory membership rates for a limited time only are Monthly €30, Yearly €330, Student/OAP Monthly €20, and Student/OAP Yearly €220 with the gym opening hours of Monday – Sunday 5am to 10pm. Note: A €20 joining/rejoining fee applies to all memberships for induction.
