CLUB LOTTO RISES TO €18,000
There was no winner of last week’s lotto jackpot of €17,800 held on Monday October 13th, the numbers drawn were: 14, 19, 20 & 21. The lucky dip winner of €50 was Clara Harte c/o Online. The lucky dip winners of €25 each were Dolores Caples c/o Online, Gearoid Towey c/o Carmel’s Garden Centre, & Helen Condon c/o Hair By Helen. The jackpot prize on Monday October 20th is €18,000.
Tickets cost just €2 each or three lines for €5 and they are available online, in the local business outlets or from your usual local sellers. As always, we would like to thank you for your ongoing support.
CLUB HOUSE CARETAKER POSITION
Kilworth GAA club are currently accepting applications for the position of club house caretaker. This 19.5 hours per week position which is in conjunction with the CE (Community Employment) programme is a developmental opportunity with no experience necessary and included duties such as maintaining cleanliness of the gym, toilets, showers & communal areas within the new clubhouse building along with maintaining the club grounds. Any accredited training will also be provided to support your career. Please contact any club executive member for more details.
HARTY HURLING
It was fantastic to see five participants from Kilworth line out in the TUS Dr. Harty Cup hurling competition last Wednesday afternoon. Darragh Collins, Odhran Hegarty, & Evan Gowen were all on the St. Colman’s College Fermoy side who drew with Midleton CBS 0-19 apiece in an all-Cork derby which was played at Lisgoold, while brothers Denis and Seán Riordan lined out for Christian Brothers College Cork who were defeated by Our Lady’s Secondary School, Templemore 2-19 to 0-20 which was played at Knocklong.

This year’s club AGM will take place on Friday November 28th at 7.30pm sharp with the venue to be confirmed. We hope to see a large attendance on the night so please spread the word.
