HURLING CHAMPIONSHIP THIS THURSDAY
Tonight, Thursday July 31st, all roads lead to Youghal as Kilworth contest Castlemartyr in the opening round of the Co-Op Superstores Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship with throw-in fixed for 7.15pm. The club would like to wish the best of luck to the entire panel of players and their management team of Pat O’Brien, Sean Daly, John Sheehan, Darren Kenny, Aidan Kenny, & Noel Gowen. All support is greatly appreciated.
Patrons are reminded to purchase tickets in advance of tonight’s game online at www.gaacork.ie as ticket sales will not be available at the venue.
ANNUAL GOLF CLASSIC RAFFLE
Our annual Kilworth GAA club Golf Classic Raffle took place last Thursday evening July 24th following the highly successful Golf Classic. The club would like to sincerely thank everyone who purchased these tickets, with all proceeds raised going directly to our Dressing Room and Community Gym Complex. Your continued support is greatly appreciated. WEEKLY CLUB LOTTO
There was no winner of last week’s lotto jackpot of €15,400 held on Monday July 21st, the numbers drawn were: 05, 16, 26 & 29. The lucky dip winner of €50 was Maura Hynes c/o Online. The lucky dip winners of €25 each were AnnMarie McGuire c/o Centra, Lisa Condon c/o Online, & Geraldine McCormack c/o Tim McCormack. The jackpot prize on Monday July 28th is €15,600.
Tickets cost just €2 each or three lines for €5 and they are available online, in the local business outlets or from your usual local sellers. As always, we would like to thank you for your ongoing support.
VOTE OF SYMPATHY
Kilworth GAA club would like to extend its deepest sympathies to the McConnell family, Cappoquin following the recent passing of Mark McConnell who was a former S&C coach with Kilworth in 2020.
