CLUB LOTTO UP TO €10,400

There was no winner of this week’s lotto jackpot of €10,200 held on Monday July 19th. The numbers drawn were: 02, 07, 12 and 13. The lucky dip winner of €50 was Louise Howard  c/o Centra. The lucky dip winners of €25 each were: Finbarr Casey c/o online, Fergus, James, Robyn & Hannah Flynn c/o online, Joe Doran c/o Centra.  Next week’s jackpot on Monday July 26th is €10,400. KILWORTH GAA GOLF CLASSIC

This year’s Kilworth GAA Club golf classic will be held in Fermoy Golf Club on Friday September 10th 2021. As always all monies taken in during the event are set aside specifically for developments within the club ground’s

The details of the event are as follows; Date: Friday 10th September 2021, Venue: Fermoy Golf Club, Players: 3 players per team, Format: 3 ball scramble (each players drive to count a minimum of 3 times), Entry Fee: €150.00 per team, Inclusions: Entry to Golf Classic, Refreshments, Meal on Completion of round.

KILWORTH CONNECTION

Another Kilworth connection to Corks recent All Ireland U20 success is Ciaran Joyce from Castlemartyr. Ciaran who starred in the pivotal role at centre back is grandson of Tim Dunne formerly of Downing Kilworth. Ciaran, is U20 again this year and was picked to play centre back again in the 2021 Munster Hurling Semi-final V Tipperary played on Tuesday night (result now know at the time of writing).

FIXTURES

Our JB hurling championship game V Newtown fixed for last Friday night was called off as a mark of respect to the McNamara family, following the death of John RIP. There is a chance this maybe re fixed for this coming Friday night, but at the time of going to press it depends on the result of  Newtown’s senior hurling league game played last night (Wednesday). Please keep and eye on the clubs various social media platforms for updates.
