FOOTBALLERS RETURN TO  CHAMPIONSHIP ACTION THIS FRIDAY

This coming Friday night, our footballers will return to championship action as they travel to Shanballymore to take on Charleville in the quarter-final of this year’s junior ‘A’ football championship. The game has a 7:30pm throw-in and we would like to wish the very best of luck to all of the players and management involved. Please spread the word and we hope to see a large crowd in attendance on the night to support the lads after their great first round victory over Buttevant. All support is greatly appreciated. The winners will book their place in the semi-final against Fermoy on the weekend of August 10th. So best of luck lads! Kilworth Abú!

CONGRATULATIONS GRANGE GAA

On behalf of the club we would like to congratulate Grange GAA on winning the Cork County Junior ‘B’ Football Championship on Sunday afternoon. It was a great win and we hope you all thoroughly enjoy the celebrations! Great credit is due to all involved.


FIXTURES ANNOUNCED FOR PREMIER INTERMEDIATE HURLING

The fixtures were announced for the premier intermediate hurling championship and Kilworth will face the winners of Aghada V Youghal/Carrigaline on the weekend of September 14/15th. Mark the date in the diary and we look forward to the return of championship hurling in a few weeks time!


SPEEDY RECOVERY

On behalf of the club we would like to wish a very speedy recovery to our former Chairman Mike Twomey following his recent accident. We would also like to wish speedy recoveries to Mikey Gown and PJ Aherne who were injured recently. We hope to see you both back playing soon lads.
